Please join the Hammond HS community for Homecoming 2017 on Saturday, October 14th! This annual fall tradition starts with an all you can eat Pancake Breakfast in the school cafeteria from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

We would like to remind parents that school attendance is very important. We understand that at times absences are unavoidable. If your child is absent for any length of time, please send a note to the front office within two days of your child’s return to school. The Open houses will be held, Monday, September 25, 8:30AM to 5:00PM at UMUC Dorsey Station Center, Room 2130 6865 Deerpath Road, Elkridge or Tuesday, October 3rd, 8:30AM to 4:30PM at The Howard County MultiService Center, Suite I 9900 Washington Blvd, Laurel.

Don't forget that in order to serve at any Howard County public school throughout the school year, all volunteers must first view two series of PowerPoint slides, then sign, and turn in two forms, agreeing to the HCPSS child abuse reporting policies, as well as the county's confidentiality policy.

We would like to thank everyone for supporting the PTA's Boosterthon Wendell's Fun Run fundraiser! We had a fabulous day today during the runs. Thank you to the volunteers and all the parents who came to cheer on and support our students! You are ALL the BEST!
