BBES Turkey Trot

Our Annual Turkey Trot will take place Tuesday, November 21, 2017. (No rain date) Students will participate in a 25 minute walk- jog outside on the field. DRESS for the cold weather – layers, hat, gloves and sneakers.

American Education Week Nov. 13 - 15

Next week, we celebrate American Education Week. Our focus day is on Monday, Nov. 13. We invite parents to visit their childrens' classrooms on that day. However, you are welcome to visit any day throughout the week. When you visit you will need to check in and get a visitors pass before visiting your child. We hope you are able to join us throughout the week.

BBES Blood Drive

Our annual blood drive will be on Tuesday, November 21st, 2017 from 10:00am to 2:00pm in the gym. This is a half day students as it is parent conferences. This is an excellent opportunity to help support all the victims of the recent hurricanes which have left so many people in need. Stop in the gym to donate, and help these people in need. Parent/Teacher Conferences

Our parent/teacher conferences will be held Monday, Nov. 20 and Tuesday, Nov. 21. Many teachers will hold conferences during those evenings as well. Some teachers may choose to hold meetings on Wednesday, Nov. 22.

A+ Student Library Accounts

A+ Student library accounts have been created for every K - 12 HCPSS student through the collaborative efforts of HCPSS and the Howard County Public Library (HCPL). These cards were sent home in the Wednesday folder earlier this year.

Parent/Teacher Conferences - Fall 2017

Our parent/teacher conferences will be held Monday, Nov. 20 and Tuesday, Nov. 21. Many teachers will hold conferences during those evenings as well. Some teachers may choose to hold meetings on Wednesday, Nov. 22. Once the sign up process has begun, parents will see the times available. This year our students will be involved in these conferences, so we ask that you bring your child with you! Conferences will be held with homeroom teachers. Information about your child's progress in mathematics will be shared through the homeroom teacher as well.

Bus Safety Message 2017-2018

As a reminder, it is very important that our students adhere to the following safety practices each morning and afternoon. These safety practices are in place to keep bus riders safe.
