Don't forget that in order to serve at any Howard County public school throughout the school year, all volunteers must first view two series of PowerPoint slides, then sign, and turn in two forms, agreeing to the HCPSS child abuse reporting policies, as well as the county's confidentiality policy. These PowerPoint slides can be viewed online, and the forms printed and signed at home, all available here:http://bbes.hcpss.org/support If you wish to volunteer at the school, please bring these signed forms along with you to the front office when you arrive! (This also applies to all field trips throughout the school year.) Even if you filled out the child abuse form last year, it must be submitted again this year! You can also fill these forms out in the front office or with each grade-level paraeducator when you arrive to volunteer.
