In preparation for the 2020-2021 school year, we want to share information related to the collection of materials still in your possession from last year and the distribution of new materials for use this school year.
BBES Materials Drop Off and Materials Pick Up
Parents will be able to drop off and pick up materials at the same time. Our distribution dates are September 3 and 4. You can come either day during the hour block assigned to your grade. If you have children in multiple grades at BBES, you can choose one time slot and we can accommodate your family in one visit.
Materials Drop Off
Materials must be returned to the school they were borrowed from (i.e. the student’s 2019-2020 school). Items may include media/library books, textbooks, or school owned musical instruments that will not be used this year. It is up to the discretion of each HCPSS school to set collection and distribution dates. All materials returned will sit for a four-day period as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention prior to being inventoried. If your child attended a different school last year, please go to that school’s website to view their collection plan. If your child attended our school last year, our collection plan is below.
Materials Pick Up
All students attending BBES in the 2020-2021 school year will pick up materials at our school. Chromebooks will be distributed to all students who did not receive an HCPSS device in the spring. We will also distribute instructional materials that students will use for virtual learning. If there are items that your child has at BBES that you would like to have returned to you at this time, please complete this form. We will do our best to locate the item and have it ready for pick up on Sept. 3 and 4. Our initial distribution plan is outlined below and we will communicate future distribution opportunities as needed.

BBES Process for Drop Off/Pick Up of Materials
Please know that our number one priority is to ensure the safety and well-being of every student, staff and family member during this process. We ask that you adhere to the following guidelines:
We will be using the BBES/PVMS Bus Loop.
Place an 8.5 X 11 piece of paper with the name of the student/students and their grade in BOLD letters on the windshield of your car.
One vehicle per household. Vehicle occupants must remain in their car at all times.
All occupants of the car are asked to wear face masks during your turn at the drop off and pick up stations.
Upon arrival at the school, follow the established traffic pattern. See map below for details.
All cars will go through the BBES/PVMS bus loop. Do NOT Enter the BBES Parking Lot.
Follow the directions and signs in the drop off/pick up area.
Please follow the directions of the staff members on site.
