Indoor Recess Games
BBES is now accepting new and used games and activities appropriate for indoor recess. Please keep us in mind as you clean out and make room for new games during the holiday season!
Hearing and Vision Screening on 12/10
The Howard County Health Department will be at our school this Monday, Dec 10 for hearing and vision testing.
Please remember to have your student wear their glasses on Monday!
All Pre-K, Kindergarten (those not tested in Pre-K) and First grade students will be tested. Students in grades 2-5 will ONLY be tested if they are new to the state of Maryland, or if their teacher referred them for testing.
BBES Dollar Drive
Bollman Bridge is again sponsoring a dollar drive. We are asking each student to send in a dollar (or more if you wish), and give it to his/her homeroom teacher to be put in the class envelope (no checks please). The money that is collected will be used to purchase gift certificates from a local grocery store to be given to BBES families who are experiencing difficult times or who may need assistance.
The Dollar Drive will run from December 6th-December 14th.

The Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS) team would like to include parent/guardian and student representatives on our team. We want to hear your unique voice! The PBIS team is seeking your input in planning programs that are school-wide, preventative, and proactive in nature. Parent and child representatives will provide the team with input and assist the team in making planning decisions, including:
Bridge Bash theme and activities
Behavior lesson topics
School-wide positive incentives
Student and staff recognition programs

Based on the number of responses, a schedule will be sent out to all interested individuals. Our team hopes to have both primary and intermediate representation at each monthly meeting. We hope to have enough volunteers for each parent-child team to attend ONE meeting this year.
Please respond to the survey by December 21, 2018. A schedule will be sent out to parent and students reps in early January.
